Home Consultations

I know you have been the most patient parent, ever.

You have been generous with your time, maybe even somewhat enjoying having to spend the time lying next to her, rock or nurse, to get her to fall asleep.  It wasn’t a chore, it was love.

You were sure she would eventually grow out of either needing you to fall asleep, taking forever to fall asleep or waking up frequently at night.

But *sigh*  that just doesn’t seem to be happening.

In hindsight, maybe you wish you’d done something sooner, or maybe you did try something but she cried, it just didn’t feel right to you, and so you stopped.

And then, if you were to make a change, how would you know if you were doing the right thing, and if the time and effort would be worth it?  Would it all just be for nothing?

I’ve worked with hundreds of families and I can help you meet your sleep goals in the most caring and compassionate way.  When we connect to discuss what is age appropriate and reasonable for your child, we’ll also talk about the most gentle way to achieve that and what other options are.  Together we’ll craft a plan that is achievable for your family.

You deserve more and it’s okay to ask for help.

You can be attached, engaged,  and well rested.

“Our toddler needed to be rocked and held to bed”

“For months, we were struggling big time at bedtime and with multiple night wakings. Our 2.5 year old needed to be rocked and sung to for up to an hour before she would fall asleep and she was waking several times all night long. After working with Sarah we are happy to report that our daughter now puts herself to sleep quickly and sleeps through the night. We are so much happier, and now have more energy to spend playing with our daughter through the day. Thanks Sarah!! :)”
