10 and 11 Month Old Sleep: Sample Schedule

In this article, I have explained 10 and 11 month old baby sleep routine and provided a sample schedule.

By 10-11  months of age, your baby is consistently taking 2 naps per day.  At this age your baby needs 1.5 – 3 hours of daytime nap hours total and 11-12 hours of overnight sleep.

I don’t love sharing “sample schedules” because I feel they can set a gal up to fail when things don’t follow the schedule exactly.  In my private consultations and online classes, I teach a “flexible schedule” using awake times to guide you through the day.  However, at this age your baby is becoming much more resilient to nap timing and being late for a nap by 15 minutes doesn’t have the same dramatic effect that it would when your baby is 4-6 months of age.

10 – 11 Month Old Sleep Schedule

6:30 am – Wake up and feed

7:30 am – Breakfast – Solid 1

9:45 am – Nap 1 – 45 min to 1.5 hours

10:30 am –  Wake up

10:30 am – Feed and snack

11:45 am – Lunch – Solid 2

2:00 pm – Nap 2 – 1 to 2 hours

3:30 pm – Wake up – 1.5 hour nap

3:30 pm – Feed and snack

5:30 pm – Dinner – Solid #3

6:20 pm – Last feed

6:50 pm – Put down in crib

7:00 pm – Asleep

Formula fed babies drinking 25 to 30 oz during the day are sleeping through the night without feeding.  So, Most EBF with 4 breast feeds from both sides before solids, are sleeping 11 hours without eating.
